Leaving Home

I was inspired by a picture in a interior magazine when painting this piece. That’s how a big green leaf appeared in this further abstract painting. It is a light positive piece. I used acrylic paint and acrylic gel medium. I played with contrasts like, transparent vs opaque and light vs dark.

The canvas is wired at the back, and ready to hang. If you wish, you could frame it in a box frame at your local framer.
